Skill Chaining
This tool helps you break down any task - like washing hands or learning to divide numbers - into clear, manageable steps. It utilises the premise of ‘chaining’, either forwards or backwards, to structure its output. Simply type in the skill you’d like to teach, type in an age (or age range, either will work), and choose either Forward Chaining or Backward Chaining.
Forward Chaining teaches each step from start to finish in order, while Backward Chaining shifts the child’s focus to the last step first, gradually working backward until they can complete the entire task on their own.
